Our vision is to make renewable wind power truly distributed and widely available. The ability to generate onsite power will help communities around the world convert the wind into onsite power - bringing renewable wind energy technology into the mainstream.
WindTronic's headquarters is located in Muskegon, Michigan USA with a manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are a company committed to bringing renewable energy to every corner of the world.
Research and Development
In 2010, WindTronics opened an R&D and Innovation Center in Napa, California to continue innovating this unique technology and to educate people about benefits of renewable energy power. The company developed an extensive training program to teach people about the product, available incentives and rebates, and what customers should consider before purchasing the wind turbine. Simultaneously, the team developed a network of certified installers to ensure that every customer has a local resource to help with the installations process.
Before the turbine was commercially available, WindTronics won several awards, was featured in top-tier media and was recognized for its game-changing technology. Top awards include the Gold Award Winner by Edison Awards in 2010 in the category of Energy & Sustainability, UNIDO – BlueSky Award, Green Builder Media 2011 Hot 50 Product Editors Choice Award and Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award 2009. The wind turbine was also featured on the NBC – Today show, Money-saving tech gadgets for the home in March 2011.
